Boat Trips to Seal Island were introduced at the end of The Second World War when Henry David Paynter took passengers in his boat the 'Sapphire' and the 'Topaz'.

Today, the link with boat pleasure trips continues with Henry David's daughter being part-owner of 'Prime Time'.

Henry David's objective was to give his passengers an experience to remember and his knowledge of the local coast provided an entertaining and informative dialogue with visitors, many of whom returned annually to see how the pups were developing.

This objective remains today with the owners of 'Prime Time' who seek to give their passengers a cruise to remember.

Prime Time is owned and operated by local fishermen who have plied their trade in the waters around our Peninsula.

Their knowledge of the coast, including tidal streams are unsurpassed by other operators.
